LEAD COACH;
CHRIS FARRANT

A few words from Chris

“I have been playing and coaching cricket for over 35 years and my younger playing days included representing Surrey at schoolboy level. During my adult years in East Anglia i have enjoyed playing club cricket scoring over 24,000 runs including fifty centuries.
My passion for the game has manifested itself in coaching . Following a period coaching the junior section of my local club side, I was offered and willingly accepted a lead coach role within the Suffolk young cricketers program. I have been the head coach for Suffolk County's under 10,11,12 and 13 squads, as well as delivering technical batting sessions to the County's best young players and squads across all age groups. I have undertaken a coaching role with the MCC Hub at Framlingham College, planning, leading and delivering sessions to young aspiring talented boys and girls.This past winter i have also joined the coaching staff at the Wymondham College Cricket academy.
To help spread the power of cricket I also visit local primary schools as part of the Chance to Shine programme, aimed at encouraging as many youngsters as possible to play the game .”
